Het is geen nieuws dat het onder het viaduct vaak druk is. Er is altijd wel iets te beleven: vrienden komen bij elkaar, jongeren lopen langs om bij de bushalte te komen, muziek wordt gespeeld en er wordt zelfs gezongen en gedanst.

One Love at the ’14 Curacao Reggae Festival

Last week Curacao celebrated the first year of a pretty fantastic event; the Curacao Reggae Festival. Brought to us by the “Bob Marley Tribute” legend, mister Junior Tecla, in collaboration with Landhuis Brievengat. It was a pretty jamming evening and the crowd was soaring high above the music (ha ha!).

A foundation with a heart for man’s bffs

We all know Curacao, by now, has plenty of animal sanctuaries and other animal rescue organizations. Great, right? Yes! But did you know we also have an animal organization aimed specifically at educating our youth on animal care? Today we’re going to enlighten you a bit on I-Animal; a non-profit organization with a heart of gold.

Halfway there…

On the weekend of July 25th 2014 a team of locals, led by Park Rangers from Uniek Curacao, headed over to Boka Patrik to execute a three-day cleanup and camping. It was a hot and wet (that’s what she said) weekend filled with lots of cleaning and dirty gloves, laughs, little bumps in the road and good ol’ friends & fun.
